Menjangan Island and Pemuteran diving area are the farthest locations from the south of Bali and to reach it takes around 3½h driving by a minivan. It is definitely worth visiting for at least two days of diving, and it is best combined with Tulamben area on the 2nd day.
We recommend at least 6 good location in Menjangan Island and Pemuteran area. Macro dive site at Secret Bay is specific for Banggai cardinalfish, or 30m deep Underwater Temple not far from Pemuteran. Menjangan Island has great wall diving and is only 30 min drive by a boat from the shore. Another special moment are sunset dives at the front of Pemuteran with a possibility to see Mandarinfish.
