DIVING IN BALI East Bali is one of the best diving areas in the world. In the Lombok straight between east Bali and west Lombok streams the so called Indonesian through-flow – a massive ocean current that streams continuously from the pacific ocean into the Indian ocean. Bali east coast is directly touched by this enormous water movement and this is the reason that the reefs in east Bali are so rich in coral life and so spectacular in the variations of different species that can be found here. NUSA PENIDA Nusa Penida is well known for the Manta cleaning station located on only 12 meters depths. The chance is really high to be able to dive with reef mantas here. As it is a long day drip we always do 2 dives on this trip. One will be on Manta Point, the second will be chosen by our experienced dive guides and the boats captains. Diving around Nusa Penida can contain strong current so we need to choose the second dive according to our divers on the boat and the daily weather and current conditions.
