This is the first professional training and it gives you the opportunity to assist during training and possibly make your profession of diving. With your future role model in mind, you will want to have extensive instructor-level knowledge of diving. In addition, you naturally want to master all basic skills at demonstration level. Your theory training is concluded with an exam. A tough test, but that is also allowed with your future responsibility. The most important part, however, is the long and extensive ‘stage’. Under the direct supervision of the instructor, you will learn to deal with your new responsibility, you will learn to realize what your exemplary role entails and you will become acquainted with the training structure of PADI. You will also be given logistical and organizational responsibilities.
