Info

Whether you need a refresher or have never had any first aid and rescue training, whether you need it for your next PADI dive course or just want to learn a new skill; we can offer you the Emergency First Response (EFR) course at our dive centers. The following EFR courses are based on internationally recognized medical guidelines for emergency care. Primary Care (CPR) – This covers the steps and techniques for handling life-threatening emergencies. Scene Assessment > Barrier Use > Primary Assessment > Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) – chest compressions – artificial respiration (rescue breaths) > Serious bleeding management > Shock management > Spinal injury management > Helping a choking adult Secondary Care (First Aid) – Because many medical conditions are not life-threatening and emergency medical services are sometimes delayed or unavailable, this teaches you how to provide first aid that eases pain and reduces the risk of further harm. > Injury Assessment > Splinting for Dislocations and Fractures > Bandaging > Illness Assessment Care for Children – to learn, practice and apply emergency care skills specific to helping infants and children with medical emergencies CPR & AED – Focus CPR training and teaching participants how to use an AED (automated external defibrillator). EFR Refresher – It’s a good idea to refresh your CPR and first aid skills every 24 months Our PADI Instructors teach all of the above at our Bali Diving Academy PADI Dive Centers.
