This course is ideal for people who want to get in touch with diving without having to go through the multiple day courses. Imagine 3-dimensional, weightless snorkeling… If developing a more proximate relationship with the underwater world entices you, then discover diving with us! Almost anyone can learn to dive! The PADI system has been developed over the years to make scuba diving as accessible as possible to the mass majorities. Simply, you need to be in reasonably good health and the desire to venture into unfamiliar territory. The Discover Scuba programme gets you in the water straight away under the direct supervision of a PADI instructor. They will introduce you to the concepts of diving including the way water affects your body, the equipment you will use and how to dive within safe limits. There is an 8 question knowledge review, after which you will have the opportunity for any questions you might have answered. You will complete the simple skills briefed in the shallow waters of the bay, after you will be ready for weightless gliding around our pretty house reef, Kebun Chris (Chris’ Garden), for up to an hour long. And if you get the taste you can easily continue dive training through the well laid-out progressive PADI system. The skills you learn may be credited towards the PADI Open Water Diver Course. You will not be taken deeper than 12 metres or beyond your comfort level. If you love it, we can then take you further afield by boat to one of our stunning offshore reefs.
