Info
As a Master Scuba Diver Trainer ( MSDT ) with the experience and knowledge gathered, you will be able to provide all the training necessary for your future students to become specialty divers. You will be able to get individuals up to the highest level of recreational diving, the Master Scuba Diver.
In order to become a Master Scuba Diver Trainer, the first step will be to complete the Instructor Development Course. The most recommended way of acquiring the MSDT level is to join in with our Specialty Instructor Training offered after passing the Instructor Examination.
Typically the course takes approximately 3 to 5 days and it gives you the possibility of choosing from a variety of specialities to master. The list of PADI Specialities offered are:
- Adaptive Support Diver
- Adaptive Techniques
-Advanced Rebreather Diver
-Altitude Diver
- AWARE – Fish Identification
- Boat Diver
- Cavern Diver
- Deep Diver
- Digital Underwater Photographer
-Certified PADI Instructor
- 25 student certifications prior to application
- Deep Diver
- Digital Underwater Photographer
- Enriched Air Diver
- Emergency Oxygen Provider
- Equipment Specialist
- Ice Diver
- Multilevel Diver
- Night Diver
- Peak Performance Buoyancy
- Rebreather Diver
- Public Safety Diver
- Search and Recovery Diver
- Sidemount Diver
- Underwater Naturalist
- Underwater Navigator
Out of these comprehensive specialities, you need to master a total of 5 in order to meet the pre-requisite of the MSDT. As you go through your IDC in Bali, we offer you 2 of these specialities for free: Aware Shark Conservation and Emergency Oxygen Provider which we believe are a must have for the every day professional diving instructor.
The MSDT certification is the next mandatory step to reach the IDC Staff Instructor as well as for many TecRec Instructor certifications.
