WHO CAN SIGN UP
To enroll in a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course, you must be 12 years old or older and have an Open Water Certification either from PADI or any other organization like SSI or NAUI.
If you’re already an Adventure Diver, you only need to complete two more Adventure Dives to earn the Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
ABOUT THE COURSE
For you to gain your certification you will need to spend 2 days with Mambo Dive Instructors. There are two mandatory dives for Advanced Open Water – Deep Adventure Dive and Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive – and you can choose the other three, for a total of five dives.
During the Deep Adventure Dive, you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, learn how to navigate using natural visual landmarks etc. For the other three dives you can discuss with your instructor what would be best for you.
Once you have completed the Advanced Open Water course you will be more confident underwater and simply be a better diver!!
