The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is a 2-3 day course, during which you will complete 5 dives total and work through some theory with your instructor. There is no exam though, so all you do is Dive and have fun. Upon completion of your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, you will be allowed to dive anywhere in the world up to 30m and you will be prepared for dives in almost all conditions. On top of this you will also follow the 1 day specialty course PADI Enriched Air/Nitrox which allows you to to have longer bottom times. *Diving with Enriched Air/Nitrox is less straining on the body. More oxygen means less nitrogen and as such less stress on the body. You will feel less tired after a day of diving. It also helps you to stay longer at depth, as it will prolong your bottom times. You want to explore the Boga Wreck in Kubu for example, but regular air gives you very little bottom time at 30m? Try doing Nitrox and you get a considerable amount of extra minutes at 30m.
