World known and among the most famous and special dive locations in Bali, Tulamben is home for the USS Liberty shipwreck sunk in the 1940s after being torpedoed by a Japanese destroyer. Tulamben is located on the East coast of the island, a beautiful and scenic 2 hours and a half car trip starting from our dive center, going up and down the mountain, passing by the Agung Volcano before eventually arriving on the beach. Water temperatures here are all year round at approximately 29 °C / 85 °F with generally amazing visibility. The USS Liberty shipwreck is the highlight of Tulamben diving but Coral Garden is as famous for its underwater Buddha statues.
