14:00 - 16:15 You start with a coffee or a tea and briefing that covers diving safety and underwater communication. Your instructor describes the use of the equipment and a few basic skills that you will practice in our swimming pool or directly in Crystal Bay. These first steps will allow you to build up confidence before we take you deeper. 16:30 - 17:30 We drive your small group to Crystal Bay and you head out to dive from the beach. Back at Reeflex, you can enjoy a shower and towels, before debriefing and recording your dives to receive your digital recognition card and, perhaps, enrol on the first level course.

With the Basic Diver you discover the beautiful underwater world of Nusa Penida's tropical waters! We offer the Basic Diver program everyday. It is a safe & straightforward way to Discover Scuba Diving in one of the best dive destinations in the world! This program starts with a cup of tea or coffee and a thorough safety briefing. You familiarise yourself with the equipment in our swimming pool to build confidence and learn some essential skills. After having discussed the detail of the dive with your instructor, you begin in the shallow water, slowly moving to a depth that you are comfortable with. You get to see a myriad of colourful tropical fish and many other amazing marine species like Mantas and Turtles, but to name but a few. Warning, scuba diving is highly addictive! You might decide to credit the cost of this first experience towards the price of the Open Water Course and start a lifelong journey of scuba diving adventures.
