This course will turn you into a more competent and confident diver and you will feel advanced buy the end of it! only a minimum of 4 dives is needed to start the course which you would have already achieved in your open water course.

If you’re already an Adventure Diver, you only need to complete two more Adventure Dives to earn the Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
The advanced course consists of 5 open water dives and some short academics. There are 2 compulsory dives (Deep and Navigation) and 3 additional dives we choose based on local dive environments and what you would like to further learn. The popular other 3 choices are Wreck, Drift diving and Night diving but these are just a few options! The Underwater Navigation teaches you some basic navigation techniques, learning compass skills and how to recognise your surroundings underwater, and the Deep dive goes a bit further into learning about Decompression Sickness, Nitrogen narcosis and more while taking you up to a depth of 30m. The other 3 dives are where we have some flexibility to discover new parts of diving which you might be interested in. Popular in Amed and Tulamben are Wreck diving on the world famous USAT Liberty where you will learn about common hazards and fine tune your buoyancy skills while exploring an underwater ship, learning how to manage currents in your drift dive and discovering weird and wonderful creatures in your Night dive! These are just some of the options which we can discuss before your diving day begins.
